SAP has released further updates to their S/4HANA Cloud Intelligent ERP System. Thankfully, documentation is always kept up to date despite the dynamic release schedule. This allows us to follow the launch of new features and functionalities attentively.
An example of such documentation is the ‘Simplification List’, a document written and updated by SAP to enable organizations looking into the S/4HANA conversion process for legacy systems such as SAP ERP 6.x.
The document is divided into different functional areas and each new feature contains a description, its business impact, and accompanying SAP notes. This information is release-dependent with the last update from May 2021, version 2105.
In addition, SAP also offers the ‘What’s New’ document which highlights all changes that were released, updated, or removed with each new system version. This document will serve as the basis for this blog post. The documentation we mentioned is available via an online tool called What’s New Viewer – SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The tool allows you to filter the available information by Line of Business, Solution Area, or Category and get a quicker overview of the latest system releases.
